Crete, the land of giant Insects!

I thought I had seen it all with the giant black Bees, huge Hornets and massive Dragon flies which inhabit the island until I came face to face with this Monster on the last day. I was about to take another photo when the thing jumped into a Giant peach and sailed away...weird!

Found your blogs through the Blog of Note--congratulations! My husband is a miniatures painter, and I'm going to pass along your other blog link to him. I know he'll be interested. But for curiosity, I looked up your profile, and found this little gem of yours. You have something for everyone, don't you? While hubby can be happily looking at your figs, I'll laze about in your beautiful garden. Your photos are lovely. Although I'm not sure if the hopper pictured here could be described as such...

I second Allegria... 'cept the hubby part. Though I have few friends that would totally dig those figures.
Personally, I adore your cats and I have a friend with a blog you might enjoy as well. http://geeklair.net/~eofhan/

The macro photos are beautiful, especially the ice formations. Congrats on your blog of note.
